The TRUENO Edition features a two-tone black hood and side panel graphic paired with either Halo or Track bRed body paint. Unique design features include black metallic finished 18-inch wheels, black door handles, mirror caps, and a TRUENO Edition badge on the front bumper lip and rear decklid. Inside, red leather-trimmed Ultrasuede sport seats, red-stitched shift boot, and leather-wrapped steering wheel complement the attention to detail.

The 1980s AE86-inspired model will come exclusively in a manual transmission. An 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, along with a premium eight-speaker audio system, ensure an engaging driving experience.

In terms of performance, the GR86 TRUENO Edition comes with an upgraded package as standard, which includes ZF SACHS Dampers and Brembo Brakes, tuned by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing to optimize handling, ride comfort, and brake system consistency.

The GR86 TRUENO Edition is built on the heritage of the AE86, a model that revolutionized sporty performance in the 1980s. With a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive platform, and an upgraded suspension damper and brake system, the GR86 has been engineered for enthusiasts who enjoy tackling twists and turns with balanced power delivery.

The 2024 GR86 TRUENO Edition amplifies its handling qualities with the addition of a standard performance package. The SACHS Dampers and Brembo Brakes, coupled with the GR86’s chassis, deliver a taut, responsive feel, ensuring drivers a balance of roll and pitch that maximizes control.

While retaining its lightweight sports car roots, all GR86 models feature modern engineering, tech, and convenience. The naturally aspirated 2.4-litre FA-24 engine delivers 228 hp and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. With either a 6-speed manual transmission or an electronically controlled automatic transmission (ECT-i), the GR86 ensures enhanced traction while cornering with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential.

An 8-inch touchscreen multimedia system, six-speaker audio system, and adjustable seating offer enthusiasts a dynamic driving experience.

The 2024 GR86 TRUENO Edition successfully merges throwback spirit with modern performance, providing drivers an exceptional fusion of style and engineering.
