For now, this refresh has not been confirmed for North America.
Will we see the ’25 model year of the crossover in New York?
Toyota is enjoying resounding success with its pocket-sized crossover. The Corolla Cross is just big enough for a couple or a young family, its fuel consumption is exemplary and the link with the best-selling car in history is a guarantee of reliability.

Launched for the 2022 model year here at home, the urban SUV was already in service elsewhere in the world, Toyota having deployed the first examples of the vehicle in Thailand in 2019 (as a 2020 model), before broadening its horizons.

And it seems that the brand’s strategists are already planning a partial redesign of the model, since the manufacturer has lifted the veil on the Corolla Cross’ 2024 model year in Thailand. The first official photos show the familiar silhouette, but the crossover’s front end has been extensively reworked, with a new signature on the headlamps, a grille better integrated into the bumper and in the same color as the bodywork, and that central stripe running across the brand’s badge. Finally, the lower part of the snout has been redesigned in plastic cladding.

Unsurprisingly, the wheel design is also new, as is the design of the rear lights. The GR Sport livery, meanwhile, retains its more “rugged” look, an alternative that was already available in the range.
Inside, the dashboard – despite the right-hand driving position – features a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel and a second 10.1-inch touchscreen in the center of the dashboard.

As for powertrains, the Corolla Cross 2024 presented in Thailand retains the same options as before, namely a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter 4-cylinder and a hybrid option based on the same combustion engine.
It now remains to be seen whether Toyota will be tempted to alter its popular vehicle for the 2025 model year. The New York International Auto Show in April would be the ideal place to unveil the local model’s evolution.
