The company will introduce its all-electric Jaguar I-PACE vehicles to Miami’s streets through a new partnership with Moove, a global mobility solutions provider. This expansion follows Waymo’s current operations across Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin, where it provides over 150,000 trips weekly.

Moove will manage fleet operations, facilities, and charging infrastructure, initially starting in Phoenix before expanding to Miami. Waymo will maintain control of service validation and operation of the Waymo Driver technology, with rides available through the Waymo One app.

Ryan McNamara, Vice President of Operations at Waymo, emphasized the partnership’s focus on safety and scalability. Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez welcomed the announcement, citing the alignment with the city’s clean energy priorities.

The company’s previous testing experience in Florida’s rainy conditions contributed to the development of its autonomous driving capabilities. The Miami launch represents Waymo’s fifth major market for autonomous ride-hailing services.
