The TurboConnect charger, which was initially launched for high-volume customers in March, will soon be available to a wider audience, marking a key milestone in Webasto’s mission to democratize EV charging. Alongside this, the company is set to launch two new products in its lineup: the Turbo DX 2 Charging Station and the Webasto Go Gen 2 High-Power Cordset, both expected later in the year.

Designed to cater to both private and commercial needs, the TurboConnect charging station boasts an impressive 11.5kW power output, capable of adding around 70 km of range per hour. This makes it an ideal solution for various settings, including residential areas, workplaces, and public charging destinations. Its advanced connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet, comply with stringent cybersecurity standards for a secure charging process.

Adding to Webasto’s portfolio, the Turbo DX 2 Charging Station is a versatile Level 2 charger with a 7.7kW power output. It offers both plug-in and hardwired options, making it adaptable to various settings. The Webasto Go Gen 2 High-Power Cordset offers portable Level 2 EV charging with its compact design and high-power capabilities, ideal for on-the-go charging needs.

All these products, alongside their emphasis on safety and energy efficiency will make charging more accessible and convenient for consumers. More details will be released in 2024.
