Contrary to the US, where the Santa Cruz is priced from $23,990 and delivered with a 2.5-litre engine and FWD, Hyundai’s Sport Adventure Vehicle is a far more premium offering in Canada.

Onboard, look for an 8″ touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a full suite of Hyundai SmartSense safety features.

The Preferred Trend, at $41,399, includes a 10.25-in digital display instrument cluster, a power driver’s seat, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Bose premium audio, power sunroof, leather seats, and more.
