2023 LA Auto Show Will Boast Electric Avenue Test Track for EVs

The 2023 LA Auto Show introduces the Electric Avenue Test Track, offering attendees a firsthand experience of electric vehicles.

 

  • Attendees can directly compare electric vehicle performance, features, and comfort at the show’s 1M sqft venue.

  • Electric Avenue, sponsored by LADWP and Volta, allows both seasoned EV fans and newcomers to test a variety of electric vehicles.

  • The Electrification Discovery Center, in collaboration with the Hispanic Motor Press Guild, aims to educate attendees about EV ownership.


 

The 2023 LA Auto Show, taking place from November 17-26, brings an innovative experience to attendees by presenting the Electric Avenue Test Track. For the first time, visitors have the opportunity to directly assess electric vehicles from an array of automotive brands. Set in the show’s vast 1 million square foot space, attendees can get hands-on with top models from leading automakers.

The show’s highlight, Electric Avenue, is a zero-emission vehicle test track that encircles the South Hall at the LA Convention Center. Spanning almost a mile, this initiative, supported by LADWP and Volta, encourages both avid EV enthusiasts and curious newcomers to test drive multiple 2023-2024 EV models. Dedicated Volta charging stations ensure the vehicles are always ready to go.

Moreover, renowned brands such as Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, and Porsche, among others, will be showcasing their electric offerings. Additionally, Verge Motorcycles introduces its two-wheeled electric model for eligible attendees to try out.

Adding an educational dimension, the Electrification Discovery Center has been established. This center, in partnership with the Hispanic Motor Press Guild, provides bilingual EV ambassadors (Spanish-speaking) to guide attendees through the complexities of EV ownership. The aim is to clarify misconceptions and offer insights into the evolving world of electric vehicles.
