Has Hyundai Teased the Ioniq 6?

Hyundai’s Mobis Tech HD lighting video shows what might be the upcoming Ioniq 6

Hyundai’s family of EVs, which includes the lauded 5, is set to grow by a number of new models over the coming years. The next inline in the Ioniq 6 however only a concept and some spy shots have been seen. That is, until now?

The only “concrete” indication of what the Ioniq 6 might look like came when Hyundai released details on their arguably cool Prophecy concept. The swooping sedan looks ultra-premium, the kind that could easily sport a Genesis badge.

The video, release a little over a week ago, comes from Hyundai Mobis. The topic, from the parts and service arm of the Korean automaker, shows the Sony Vision-S electric concept vehicle almost throughout. The headlights however, according to Insideevs, belong to something else.

Prophecy Concept EV Pushes Hyundai Into the Future

Based on the source, the closeups of the headlights might be from the Ioniq 6. These units are special and offer unique functions such as projecting curves, the car’s footprint, and other useful features when driving. Speaking of Genesis, the LED markers remind us somewhat of the second generation Genesis sedan.
