Honda Shows New Compact EV Prototype Interior Ahead of Geneva

Honda’s new compact electric vehicle prototype is set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March but in the meantime, we can get a glimpse at its interior.

Last month, Honda showed its first teaser of the upcoming EV prototype by showing a rendered image of the front of the car. Now, we catch sight of its interior.

Just like its exterior, the interior is influenced by the Urban EV Concept that made its first appearance in 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The new compact electric vehicle prototype is packing a full-width dashboard, as we can see on the picture. Honda says that its “User-focused technology” and the design “creates an engaging and relaxed atmosphere”. They also add that “the experience will change the way you drive forever.”

The image also reveals the faux-wood trim on the dashboard as well as the design of the infotainment. We can see the regular navigation, phone, Bluetooth, USB and EV menus among others.

The Urban EV prototype will be unveiled on March 5th during Honda’s announcement at 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
