Hyundai has shared some first images of the next-generation Palisade, showing the redesigned three-row SUV expected to debut in late 2025 as a 2026 model year. The updated Palisade adopts a bolder and far more convincingly upscale design, and premium interior touches as the automaker attempts to solidify the SUV’s position in the growing large crossover segment.
The new Palisade’s front end introduces a reworked grille integrated with prominent lighting elements. Stacked daytime running lights flank four additional lighting units, forming a striking visual signature. A lower design element beneath the grille may include active aerodynamic shutters or function as a decorative feature.
In profile, the redesigned Hyundai Palisade carries wraparound DRL graphics that frame the large, blacked-out greenhouse. A chrome roofline detail and raised roof rails extend from the rear pillar toward the windshield, complemented by dark roof elements. The squared-off wheel wells and angular body panels indicate its imposing stature. At the rear, bright lighting accents wrap around to create a cohesive, framed look.
The interior continues the premium theme, with what appears to be Hyundai’s double 12.3-inch screen layout installed as the centrepiece of the dashboard. Surrounding the displays, what appears to be leather and other layered materials highlight the Palisade’s upscale ambitions. Practical elements can also be found, including physical buttons, a wireless phone charging pad, and multiple USB-C ports.
More details on the powertrain, expected to be the turbocharged 2.5L 4-cylinder engine from the Santa Fe, features, and pricing will be shared as the SUV approaches its official unveiling. Hyundai’s updated Palisade is likely to hit Canadian showrooms in late 2025.
