Infiniti Finally Adopts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will make their way into all 2020 Infiniti models, say the Japanese manufacturer.

Last week at its 30th-anniversary celebrations, Infiniti announced that it would finally include the Apple Carplay and Android Auto software in its 2020 models. Indeed, no Infiniti models are equipped with this very popular technology.

The system in question retains its name (InTouch) and remains a two-screen system. However, the manufacturer has announced that it has made changes to the interface, including Google Street and improving connectivity with wireless phones via Bluetooth. It will be faster and more stable thanks to a brand-new module which includes a faster processor.

They also boast a better navigation system. Finally, the InTouch system will be able to accept 7 devices connected to its WIFI terminal.

The only Infiniti vehicle not to take advantage of these enhancements and the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is the QX60. So, Infiniti assures us that all 2020 models will be equipped with these technologies.
