The Kia EV9 will be Telluride-sized and look like the concept revealed in 2021

  • It will offer a range of up to 300 miles.

  • The 3-row SUV will be priced at around $50,000.

Kia’s plans for the EV9 3-row SUV will undoubtedly have a massive impact in North America. Will Kia does have an electric pickup in the works, the EV9 will strike a chord with families looking for space, efficiency, and, most importantly, affordability.

The new Kia Concept EV9 Revealed at the LAAS is the Electric Telluride

The EV9 will be assembled on the advanced E-GMP platform already used for the very impressive EV6. The 800-volt architecture will ensure that the platform remains relevant for a while as it enables fast-charging and bi-directional charging capabilities.

Interestingly, according to Motor Authority, the production version of the EV9 will heavily resemble the concept revealed at the 2021 LA auto show. Kia America Chief Designer Tom Kearns adds that 80% to 90% of the concept’s exterior styling will make the final cut. The main difference will be the addition of a “B” pillar.
