The AMG E 53 HYBRID Wagon, starting at $109,900 (before fees), pairs a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine with a plug-in hybrid system, producing a combined 577 horsepower or 604 hp (ex-E 63 numbers) with the optional RACE START feature. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is estimated at 4.1 seconds, reduced to 3.9 seconds with RACE START enabled. The system integrates a 161-hp electric motor and a 28.6-kWh battery, with 21.2 kWh usable capacity. Charging supports 60 kW DC and 9.6 kW AC. No details on the electric range yet.

Standard features include AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, active rear-axle steering and variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. Buyers can select the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package, which increases top speed to 280 km/h and adds upgraded brakes, an electronic rear differential and AMG performance steering wheel.

Interior options include AMG Nappa leather upholstery, AMG Performance seats and a Burmester 4D sound system. A limited “Edition 1” version will be offered with exclusive paint, 21-inch wheels and unique trim.

The wagon accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in an estimated 4.7 seconds and has a combined fuel consumption of 9.3 L/100 km.

Designed for light off-road use, the model features standard AIRMATIC air suspension, an Off-Road driving mode and a 360° camera with “transparent hood” functionality. The exterior includes protective cladding, undercarriage protection and a model-specific grille.
