In a nod to its storied motorsport legacy and the sheer enjoyment of manual driving, MINI USA has unveiled the pricing and availability details for the 2024 MY MINI John Cooper Works 1TO6 Edition. With its global introduction in May, this exclusive Special Edition MINI is now officially open for US customers, demonstrating the brand’s unwavering commitment to delivering maximum performance and engineering prowess in an alluring, entertaining package.

This highly limited 1TO6 Edition car, which is expected to commence production in Q3 of 2023, is an embodiment of the purest form of driving joy, blending the legendary performance of a John Cooper Works with a distinct limited edition aesthetic. The MINI John Cooper Works brand, renowned for appeasing drivers with their demand for high performance and superb engineering, extends this legacy with the introduction of the 1TO6 Edition, limited to just 999 units.

Visually, the 1TO6 Edition showcases a striking monochromatic exterior design set off by a Midnight Black Metallic paint finish, Piano Black exterior trim, and Jet Black 18” Circuit Spoke alloy wheels. The car’s look is further enhanced by a grey center-running stripe with edition-specific graphics that traverse the length of the vehicle. This design extends into the interior, where the 1TO6 Edition emblem decorates everything from the door sills to the Nappa leather sports steering wheel and floor mats, providing a reminder of the car’s exclusivity.

The standard stainless-steel pedals and manual transmission highlight the dynamic driving experience and exhilarating go-kart feel of the MINI John Cooper Works.

To add to its allure, the 1TO6 Edition includes standard Connected Media equipment such as an 8.8-inch touch display in the central instrument, the MINI Online Digital Service, Remote Services, and smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and other apps via the vehicle’s own control system.

About to hit the US market, there is hopeful anticipation that this thrilling model will eventually make its way to Canadian shores.
