For the first time in North America, Nissan is offering the NISMO version of its full-size SUV. Known elsewhere as the Patrol NISMO, this high-performance version delivers 460 horsepower.
The second NISMO in the lineup, alongside the Z
The second NISMO model in the Nissan lineup is now represented by its largest SUV, the Armada, meaning the Z is no longer the brand’s only performance icon. As always, Nissan adopts an aggressive design approach.

With the Armada NISMO, Nissan pushes the limits of visual dynamism. The entire front fascia has been redesigned to feature an oversized grille that stretches into the bumper. Speaking of bumpers, both the front and rear are completely different from those on standard Armada models.
In line with the Z’s styling cues, a red decorative stripe wraps around the base of the vehicle, creating a ground-hugging effect. On the sides, integrated running boards within the side skirts combine practicality with flair. For extra personality, touches of smoked chrome are added to the body.
The package is rounded off with 22-inch forged NISMO wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S tires. The Armada NISMO is available in several color options: Stealth Gray NISMO, Stealth Gray NISMO with Super Black roof, Pearl Diamond Black, Everest White Pearl TriCoat, and Everest White Pearl TriCoat with Super Black roof.

Seeing red on the inside too
The bold style carries over into the cabin, with quilted Alcantara-style leather upholstery exclusive to this model. A new steering wheel, faux carbon fiber trim, red contrast stitching, and other red accents complete the interior design. For a sportier touch, the pedals are finished in aluminum.

The heart of the beast
The Patrol NISMO is hugely popular in Gulf countries. In these lands of excess, good looks aren’t enough—performance is a must. That’s why the 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 has been tuned from 425 to 460 horsepower, with torque peaking at 516 lb-ft. This performance boost is made possible by engine remapping and valve timing adjustments.
Speed will be on point, thanks to various technical upgrades. The air suspension has been re-engineered for a more dynamic drive, as has the steering calibration. All of this has been done without compromising the SUV’s off-road capabilities.

How much and when?
The 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO is expected to arrive at Canadian dealerships by the end of the year. In terms of pricing, it will sit at the top of the range. For comparison, the 2025 Armada lineup starts at $87,840 (SL) and goes up to $109,408 (Platinum Reserve). Therefore, expect a price tag between $115,000 and $120,000.
