Buyers can now reserve a ZDX online or at an Acura dealer.
Deliveries are expected to begin early next year.
The included Acura Energy Key Card will give buyers access to exclusive events and deals.
Acura has now opened the order books for the 2024 ZDX, its first electric model offered in North America.
With the first deliveries expected to start early next year, interested customers can now place a reservation either online or at one of the brand’s dealerships.
No matter which way customers prefer to proceed, all sales will be made through a new omnichannel digital sales model.
While prices have not yet been announced, Acura says to expect the entry-level single motor ZDX A-Spec to start at around $60,000 in the US, which means around $80,000 in Canada.
The more powerful dual-motor ZDX Type S will require buyers to fork out about $70,000 US or $93,000 CAD in exchange for its output of about 500 horsepower.
For both models, Acura will include the Acura Energy Key Card as an exclusive benefit for reservation holders. This card will give them access to a number of Acura-sponsored events such as the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and the 2024 Grand Prix Long Beach, where ZDX owners will also be received in Acura exclusive spaces.
This card will also give drivers rebates with partner companies, such as TopGolf and Bang & Olufsen, who make the premium audio system option for the ZDX.
In order to make charging more convenient for buyers of its first EV, Acura also offers one of three charging packages that can be selected at purchase.
Honda and Acura have both committed to use the NACS charging standard for their future EVs, but the ZDX will still feature a conventional CCS charging port, at least for the first few months of production.
