Subaru Viziv Adrenaline Hybrid Concept Debuts in Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show was home to a new concept from Subaru, the Viziv Adrenaline which comes complete with a hybrid powertrain.


The Subaru Viziv Adrenaline Concept features a bold, not ugly at all design that could preview what the Japanese automaker has in store for its next Subaru Crosstrek.

The Viziv Adrenaline is powered by a PHEV hybrid engine, but we don’t know what kind of specs it puts out. Subaru made the Viziv Adrenaline Concept all about design and style, and so we will focus on that.

Subaru calls the design language “BOLDER”. The name sounds aggressive and the result is certainly far from subtle. The Viziv Adrenaline is rugged-looking small utility vehicle with large bits of cladding, a sharp, pointy front end and high belt line. Big tires and side fenders are also part of the package.

The Viziv Adrenaline has four doors, but you wouldn’t know it looking at the concept. Ultimately, it’s a sleek looking small SUV that looks like it go where ever it wants to go.

Subaru says the Viziv Adrenaline Concept is made to encourage drivers to “drive freely in mother nature”. Its new BOLDER design language aims to “broaden the brand’s outlook, define the characteristics of Subaru vehicles more prominently, and create more enjoyment for all passengers”.

So there you have it. What do we think about it? Only that Subaru should make the next Crosstrek look exactly like the Subaru Viziv Adrenaline concept.
