New Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Nascar truck was unveiled today in Las Vegas
Toyota has accumulated 8 driver championships and 11 manufacturer championships in the NASCAR Truck Series since 2004
The new Toyota Tundra TRD Pro NASCAR truck unveiled today in Las Vegas features the new 2022 Tundra’s bold grille and redesigned headlights, and is set to compete in the NASCAR Truck Series next year.
The Tundra NASCAR truck will debut in February at the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. Like the Camry TRD in the Cup Series and the Supra in the Xfinity Series, the Toyota Truck Series vehicle closely resembles the production version of the Tundra on which it is based.
The 2022 Toyota Tundra was completely redesigned and introduced last week. It features a massive grille, revamped styling and a brand-new interior. It also gets a new twin-turbo V6 standard as opposed to the standard V8 in the previous generation.
Toyota entered the NASCAR Truck Series back in 2004 and has since won eight driver championships and 11 manufacturer championships. The Tundra has won 200 victories so far and Toyota is currently in the lead for the manufacturer’s championship.
