  • Unique 1999 Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe sold for $1,325,000 USD.

  • Broad Arrow’s 75th Anniversary Auction showcased classic Porsche vehicles.

As spotlighted in our previous article, the one-off 1999 Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe was set to command attention at the Broad Arrow 75th Anniversary Porsche Auction on June 10, 2023. Not only did it achieve this, but it surpassed all expectations by selling for an astounding $1,325,000 USD.

911 Classic Club Coupe

The first of its kind in the ‘Classic Series’, this unique ‘Factory One-Off’ blended elements of the 2010 and 2022 911 Sport Classics in its design. Born from a collaboration between Style Porsche’s Director of Special Projects, Grant Larson, and the Porsche Club of America (PCA), the vehicle created a new high-water mark for heritage and exclusivity.

This standout car turned heads with its Sport Grey Metallic paint, accentuated by dual stripes in Sport Grey Light and thin border stripes in PCA Club Blau. Iconic features such as the handmade ducktail spoiler, recalling the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7, and a double-bubble roof nodding to the Carrera GT, added to its auction appeal. Equipped with a 381-horsepower, water-cooled flat-six engine from the 996.2-generation 911 GT3, and 18-inch Fuchs wheels, this car left a lasting impression.

The Club Coupe’s interior also resonated with bidders, thanks to black and slate grey leather upholstery featuring a Pepita pattern exclusive to this model, and PCA Club Blau accents.

After a thorough restoration at the Stuttgart-based Porsche Classic workshop, the Club Coupe re-emerged in the U.S. in 2022. It quickly became a talking point at several PCA events and, on auction day, this extraordinary Porsche masterpiece, as forecasted, excited collectors and Porsche enthusiasts, finally being sold for a remarkable $1,325,000 USD.
