2021 Chrysler Pacifica To Be Offered With Available AWD And Uconnect 5

  • The fully automatic all-wheel-drive (AWD) system will be available on all five trims.
  • The plug-in hybrid version will continue however will not be offered with AWD.
  • Updated front grille, headlamps, fog lamps and taillamps.
  • 2021 Pacifica first FCA product to get Uconnect 5.

Truth be told, despite winning a huge number of awards, the Chrysler Pacifica has never matched the Dodge Grand Caravan’s reach or success. The main culprits were its pricing and although new and more luxurious, a lack of truly desirable packaging over the Dodge. This is changing as the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica gets all the goodies.

The first and possibly most important for Canadian consumers is the availability of AWD. The seamless, fully automatic system use a brake-lock differential system which will slow a needlessly spinning wheel and automatically send power to the one that grips. It also features a disconnect function for better efficiency. Equally impressive is the fact that it retains its Stow ‘n Go seating in both rear rows thanks to a three-piece driveshaft.

The list of features and upgrades is nothing short of extensive. One that is sure to please is the new Uconnect 5 system with its included 10.1-inch touchscreen and countless functionalities.

There’s so much more that we’ll just include a link to FCA’s press release here.

2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition pre-orders open in the second quarter of 2020. 2021 Chrysler Pacifica models orders begin in the third quarter with deliveries beginning in the fourth quarter.
