Over the next three years, Polestar will introduce a new model and the party starts in 2022 with the Polestar 3. The sporty 4-door crossover has all the makings to become a success with extra space and the all-important rugged design cues. Production of the 3 production will begin at Volvo’s Cars plant in Charleston, South Carolina, in late 2022 and deliveries follow shortly thereafter.

“We will build in America for Americans,” says Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO. “Polestar 3 is planned to be launched in 2022 as a premium electric performance SUV that will define the look of SUVs in the electric age. It will also be the first Polestar vehicle to be built in America.”
