Aston Martin announced that the first Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Continuation was delivered to its owner.
Aston Martin partnered up with Zagato, again, to create the DBZ Centenary Collection. The Collection was conceived to mark Zagato’s hundredth anniversary and comprises of two truly unique cars, the Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato and DB4 GT Zagato Continuation.
Both cars are sold as a pair only, which costs £6 million (roughly $8M USD), and the production run is limited to 19 copies only.
Each car is a pure work of art. It takes around 4,500 hours to build each one of them at the brand’s Heritage Division headquarters in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.
Aston Martin previously confirmed deliveries starting in Q4 2019 for the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation while the DBS GT Zagato a year later in Q4 2020.
Promise kept since the British manufacturer announced today the delivery of the very first Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Continuation to its owner.
“Christmas may be just around the corner now, but for 19 astute car collectors it is most definitely coming early,” said Paul Spires, President of Aston Martin.
He added: “The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation programme has been our most challenging and rewarding to date, and it is a genuine honour to see the fruits of our not inconsiderable labours making their way to owners around the globe.”
