Ram Launches 2500 Power Wagon and Rebel Lunar Edition During Total Lunar Eclipse

Timed with a total lunar eclipse, Ram has introduced new Lunar Edition variants of its 2500 Power Wagon and 2500 Rebel heavy-duty pickups. Both models adopt a distinctive monochromatic theme inspired by the surface of the moon, blending exclusive exterior finishes with bespoke interior detailing.

Unveiled during the celestial event, the Ram 2500 Lunar Edition lineup marks the return of moon-inspired styling for the brand’s three-quarter-ton off-road trucks. Designed to blend heavy-duty performance with a more assertive visual signature, the special editions introduce tailored aesthetic upgrades inside and out while retaining the proven mechanical foundations of both models.

A Monochromatic Lunar Theme

Orders open later this month, with each Ram 2500 Lunar Edition finished in Ceramic Grey Clear-Coat paired with a Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat lower body. A colour-matched grille surround replaces the standard Satin Black treatment, creating a more cohesive and refined appearance. Black-painted wheels—17-inch units on the Power Wagon and 20-inch wheels on the Rebel—reinforce the darkened theme, while dedicated Lunar Edition bodyside graphics complete the space-inspired look.

Interior Enhancements: Premium Materials and Unique Details

Inside, the Lunar Edition package elevates the cabin with full-grain Natura Plus black leather bucket seats featuring embossed Power Wagon or Rebel logos. New Copperhead Orange contrast stitching accents the leather dashboard, instrument panel, seats and door panels, extending to the steering wheel, grab handles and column shifter for a consistent, high-impact finish.

A distinctive alloy centre-console badge—finished in black with machined-face Satin Chrome lettering—underscores the exclusivity of the package. A Mopar integrated heavy-duty lockable console safe is also included, providing a concealed and secure storage compartment for valuables.

Technology and Utility

The Lunar Edition is built on the Level 2 Equipment Group. This package includes a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch front passenger interactive display and a 17-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system. Additional features include power-adjustable pedals, passive front-door entry with lock function and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

On the exterior, Level 2 adds a sport performance hood, LED courtesy and bed lighting, a spray-in bedliner and a deployable bed step.

For the Power Wagon, the package also incorporates a front bumper-integrated WARN Zeon-12 winch rated at 12,000 pounds, along with Mopar accessory rock rails. The Rebel version receives power-deployable running boards.

All Ram heavy-duty models continue to offer heated power convex trailer tow mirrors with power-folding, power-telescoping and memory functionality, reinforcing their work-ready focus.

Engines and Performance Specifications

The 2026 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Lunar Edition is equipped with the 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine. Producing 405 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, the Power Wagon delivers a maximum payload of 1,570 pounds and towing capability of up to 10,590 pounds.

The 2026 Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition features the 6.7-litre Cummins High-Output turbo-diesel inline-six. This powertrain generates 430 horsepower and 1,075 lb-ft of torque. In Rebel configuration, it supports payload capacity of up to 3,300 pounds and towing capability reaching 19,890 pounds.

Pricing and Availability

The Lunar Edition package is priced at $1,995. In the United States, the Ram 2500 Power Wagon Lunar Edition starts at $86,385, while the 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition begins at $93,885, both including destination charges. Orders are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in March. Sadly, Stellantis Canada confirmed this Lunar Edition is limited to the US market.
