The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe carries with it a legacy of comfortable and spacious family mobility. For this model year, Hyundai ups the ante with a collection of new powertrains and a number of visual upgrades inspired by the very popular 3-row Palisade SUV.

The base Essential FWD is powered by a new 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine and is priced from $31,399 and is well-equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and much more. AWD adds $2,000 to the price tag and becomes a standard feature on all other trims. The $36,499 Preferred includes a power driver seat, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and start, and more. The Preferred Trend, with sunroof, leather seats, and more adds a further $2,000 to the model.

From the Preferred Trend, the hybrid powertrain becomes available. Priced from $41,399, it features a 1.6-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired to a 44.2 kW electric-drive motor with a combined power output of 226 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. For $43,799, the Luxury hybrid brings even more premium features. All of the above-mentioned models include an 8-speed automatic transmission.

For 2021, the Hyundai Santa Fe gains a range-topping $47,499 Calligraphy trim. This version includes Nappa leather, full-colour head-up display, a suede headliner, and more. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-litre engine that produces 277 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed, wet dual-clutch transmission.

The hybrid versions arrive this month while the PHEV iterations lands sometime this summer.
