2020 Toyota Supra Shows Its Rear And It Looks Good

As we draw closer to the 2020 Toyota Supra unveiling scheduled for Detroit next month, a new leaked image of the upcoming Toyota flagship appeared online last night.

This time showing the Supra’s rear, the leaked image confirms what we noticed when the front end appeared on the web a few weeks ago. The 2020 Supra will bear a strong resemblance to the FT-1 Concept that was unveiled at the NAIAS in 2014.

And you know what? That’s a really good thing. It also appears more and more likely that this new Supra will be a lot more than simply a sportier Toyota 86. This will be a proper Toyota flagship sports car complete with arrest-me yellow as an available color.

The rear image of the new Supra was published on online forum SupraMKV. We are thinking someone at Toyota is deliberately feeding the forum sporadic pictures in order to build hype, or there’s a rogue employee on the Supra team.

Either way, these leaked pictures are doing their job and we can’t wait to see the 2020 Toyota Supra with our own eyes next month. Powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six that sounds pretty aggressive, the 2020 Toyota Supra will hit the market later this year. There’s already talk of a convertible to follow.
